@greyback
Chelsea was in a foul mood, which lately, was nothing new for her. Charms had just ended, and if sixth year was any indication, her NEWT year was going to be a pain in the ass. She was starting to think that only cigarettes, smuggled whiskey, and a whole lot of luck were the only things that were going to get her through this. Of course, once she was done, then what? She had no desire to return to her family after graduation and there were no long term prospects for her after graduation. The only thing she was really good at was quiddich, and she had doubts she was even good enough at that to go pro.
Screw it, she thought to herself, there was time enough to worry about that later. Right now, all she wanted to do was to bolt down some lunch and get on with her day, nothing else mattered. Head down, her arms full of books and parchment, she did not see the person in front of her until it was too late. She crashed into the unknown person and fell straight on her ass in front of them. Her books went flying.
"Hey! Watch where you are going!"

I was looking for action, but all I found was cigarettes and alcohol Another day was in the making at Hogwarts; the pattern for the last six years continued. Classes, homework, and in between meals were fit in. It was becoming monotonous but it was home, at least her home away from home. Zoey needed something to excite her before a coma like state came over her. The usual party scheme would not work this time around. It was certain that the Greyback girl was one of the biggest partiers in the school, none could hardly match her stamina, but guzzling down stolen liquor was not going to sate her boredom.
Leaving the Great Hall, Zoey’s mind was busy thinking of ideas to entertain herself with so she wasn’t pay attention to where she was walking. Most people moved out of her walk path anyways because no one really wanted to tangle with Zoey. Apparently this one blonde did not get the memo and crashed hard into her sending the blonde’s books scattering across the floor. Zoey couldn’t believe the audacity the other had in telling her to watch where she was going. ”If you carried your books in a freaking bag instead of juggling them all you wouldn’t have embarrassed yourself by falling on your arse.” Zoey spat, looking down at the pathetic heap the girl sat in on the floor.

@greyback
Chelsea had had enough.
Here she was, flat on her ass, uniform dirty and with what felt like a heroic sized bruise on her tailbone. Combined with the really crappy day she was having, she was in no mood to be diplomatic. Before she got up, she took a second to size up her new "friend". Her uniform colors showed that she was in Slytherin...big surprise there. Chelsea's Gryffindor side came roaring out at the sight of green and silver.
She appeared to be around Chelsea's own age and the attitude was was projecting made her want to hex her into oblivion. Chelsea got up and started to gather her belongings, never taking her eyes of the girl.
"Did it ever occur to you you arrogant git that my books were out because I just got done using them to, you know, study? Oh, I forgot, you wouldn't know anything about learning would you?"
She was acting braver than she felt. This could turn very bad, very soon, but she was tired of being walked on. If she had to, she would risk a detention for fighting with this girl. She stuffed her books and parchment into her bag and turned to face her advisary.
"Are we done now or do you have more helpful advice for me?"

I was looking for action, but all I found was cigarettes and alcohol Irritation. That was surely the word to describe Zoey's mood now; pushing the boredom right out. Nothing like a surge of adrenaline to wake a person up. She watched as the blonde Gryffindor stared at her with animosity from the lowly position on the ground. It almost made Zoey chuckle. Didn't this girl bump into her and yet she wants to choose to be furious with her? Ironic.
The Gryffindor gathered her books, never taking her eyes off of Zoey. She would have normally left without feeling the need to see how this situation would of played out however, since the girl wanted to be the typical Gryffindor and be brave. Zoey wanted to see what the girl had in her.
After hearing her retorts the Greyback wasn’t all that impressed. A stereotypical dig at the intelligence of a Slytheirn student. How original. She allowed the girl to stand up before addressing her statement, which honestly wasn’t worth a comeback. But what else did Zoey have to do right now? ”I think you should hit the books a little more there if all you can come up with is an insult toward Slytherin’s being stupid.” Giving the girl a bit more advice.

@greyback
Typical Slytherin snootiness
It wasn't as though Chelsea didn't expect such a reply from a member of the snake set, but still, in her experience, it was totally uncalled for. And, to be honest, she was totally and completely done with being a doormat. No more was she going to let anyone, much less this....person demean her, especially when she did not know her. She was fed up, and finally, she was going to do something about it.
Finishing gathering her books, she on purpose lay them in a neat pile next to her empty bag. She was not going to give this girl the satisfaction of putting them in her bag...and then calmly took out her wand and pointed it inches from her nose. Trying to decide what hex or curse to potentially use, she spoke in a calm voice she had never used before.
"I suggest you rethink the way you speak to me witch. I don't appreciate your uppity know it all, superior attitude, and it stops now. I am NOT one to be messed with. Understood?"
Her voice held more bravery that she had ever felt in her life, and she finally understood why she had been sorted into Gryffindor. This may end bad, but in the end, at least she stood up for herself for the first time in her life.
