@greyback A dreary day wasn't something that Nik minded. He usually relished in the fact that the days were cool, gloomy, and rainy. However, on this particular day, Nik wasn't feeling the weather. There was something in the air that made him feel uneasy. Almost as if someone were watching him. Nik walked the cobbled streets, always looking over his shoulder. Someone in his line of profession would usually have no issues with this.
Niklaus ran a hand through his long, dark locks as he pulled a cigarette from his leather jacket pocket. He brought it to his lips and lit it with a snap of his fingers. Taking a drag, he pulled the stick from his lips and exhaled the toxins into the air. He breathed a sigh of relief. Nik continued on his walk, this time trying to shake the feeling of someone following his every move. The hustle and bustle of the many witches and wizards preparing for the approaching school year made Diagon Alley the perfect place to hide from anyone. The tall man continued, listening in on the many conversations being had. Most of the families and parties walking through the alley were talking about the many things they required for their children attending Hogwarts. Even in the rain, the alley was a loud and busy place. Nik finished off his cigarette and threw the remains on the cobbled ground. He took a hard right down on of the many paths and soon found himself in front of a small cafe that he had never seen before.
Thinking to himself about the person who was following him, Nik decided it would be best if he entered the unknown cafe and had himself a pick me up. His hand grasped the knob and turned it. He pulled the door toward himself and walked into the modern coffee shop. A small smile graced the features of the women working the front desk. The girls began whispering to each other as Nik sat himself in one of the comfy chairs. Nik laughed to himself and shook his head as the two young women seemed to bicker about who would get the opportunity to serve Niklaus. This type of behaviour was quite normal for Nik. Women seemed to be infatuated with him. It wasn't a problem, but it did make him feel quite high and mighty about himself.
After a few moments of watching the girls bicker, Niklaus raised his hand and waved the girls over. They both pushed themselves out of each other's way and presented themselves in front of him. Nik smirked and the girls seemed to swoon. Just as Nik was about to place his order, the door opened, interrupting.

There was less than a month left until the beginning of Zoey's final year at Hogwarts which caused mixed feelings within her. Part of her could not wait to be rid of that school and another part, a smaller one, knew she would miss the place once it was gone. It had been home to her for the past six years and it would serve as just that for another year once school started in a few weeks. Since the school year was around the corner Zoey decided to take a day trip to Diagon Alley so she could get the supplies on her list. She had purchased all the books on the list as well as restocking her potions ingredients. The last item on her list was a cauldron which she had just finished buying. A copper cauldron that cost her 30 galleons; Zoey wanted the best and money could usually get her that.
With the last name Greyback people tend to think of that name being beneath them however, Zoey's mom was pretty well known and very well off financially. At first Zoey carried her mother's last name but she legally changed it during her third year. She didn't feel the need to hide from her true identity. Unlike most of the other Greyback children Zoey had a fondness for her father and a decent relationship with him. Her last name brought her pride rather than revulsion.
After all the items has been taken care of she sent them to The Three Broomsticks until she was ready to leave. If it got too late she would just rent a room there for the night. Zoey figured she would take the time to explore Diagon Alley, although she felt as if she knew every inch of the place by this point. Walking the cobble-stoned road amongst the crowd she began to feel the downpour of rain. It had been lightly raining most of the day which didn't bother her. She watched as most of the people scattered to take cover. Zoey remained heading toward a coffee shop.
By the time she reached the front door her clothes were soaked. Her jeans felt tighter around her legs, her black tank clung to her bodice, and her boots squeaked. She pulled open the door and stepped in getting herself out of the rain. Her long dark hair hung in her face and she shook her head to move it, lightly sprinkling the residue of water around her. Taking in the scene she noticed the coffee shop was rather empty except for a few people. Noticeably a guy in a leather jacket sitting at a table with two ladies that seemed to be conflicted between awe at the guy and anger with each other. Zoey sort of smirked to herself before taking a booth by the window, semi-close to what she perceived would be her entertainment for the day.

@greyback Nik watched as a young woman walked through the coffee shop doors, drenched in rain water. The girl appeared cold. She quickly moved to a seat and sat herself, looking toward Nik and the two girls trying to serve him. In order to get rid of these two leeches, Niklaus thanked them and rose to his feet. “I’ll have a tall coffee, black and a tea for my lovely friend over here,” he said as he started to walk toward the young woman sitting by herself.
He charmingly smiled at the girl as he sat in front of her. He clasped his hands together and placed them on the table in front of him. His eyes diverted themselves from his newly found company and watched the two girls who seemed to have turned up their noses and went along, making the order he had placed. Niklaus soon turned back to the girl and let out a sigh of relief.
“Thank you for coming in when you did. I didn’t think I would have been able to enjoy my coffee without someone drooling over me.” Niklaus let out a small laugh and then cleared his throat before continuing. “I’m Niklaus, and I ordered you a tea, if that’s alright?”
He kept his hands where they were and sat in silence for a moment or two. Niklaus always had something to say to a beautiful woman, however, there was something telling him that he would be in a lot of trouble if he continued speaking to this woman in a way that he normally would. Soon, the feeling of him being followed and watched soon faded. The two young waitresses came back with their orders and placed them on the table. They looked at Nik with a genuine smile and slowly turned their heads to give the girl he was sitting with a fake one. As the two girls walked away, Nik let out a small chuckle. “Well, I know who won’t be getting a very good tip.” Nik finally unclasped his hands and took his coffee and sipped at it gently. His eyes widened as the warm liquid rushed down his throat scalding his tongue and esophagus. “Bloody freaking hell that’s God damn hot!” The man yelped and began to fan his tongue, as if that would help in any way to cool it down.

Tagged: @gavin Glancing away from the scene to the right of her, Zoey turned her attention toward the rain streaked window to her left. Focusing on the race between the droplets clinging to the window pane. Life seemed to be rather similar, people racing to their destination, just to be extinct in the end; most leaving no trace of themselves behind. The male's voice in the coffee shop pulled Zoey from her thoughts. She couldn't help but scoff under her breath. Who did he think he was to presume that he was allowed to sit with her? And on top of things, she wasn't a fan of tea; at least the hot sort. However, it was a little bit of an ego stroke to be called lovely by a stranger, but if this guy thought he was going to hit on her instead of the other two throwing themselves at him, he had another thing coming. The leather jacket, dark hair, and presumptuous attitude already marked him as someone Zoey was certain not to like. An egotistical douchebag.
An arched eyebrow marked her face as he continued to approach her table and sit down expressing his gratitude for her presence. "Of course, because it was my sole mission today to save you from the two bimbos." she said, her words laced with sarcasm. Although Niklaus, as she learned his name to be, was attempting to be nice Zoey couldn't fully accept it. However, seeing as watching the two woman low-key fight over him had been interrupted due to her entrance, she figured accepting his company might help the time pass by. "I actually dislike tea." She said simply, not thanking him for his gesture. She felt it would have been better for him to ask her what she wanted to drink instead of assuming. She decided to skip her side of the introduction, it didn't seem important for her to give her name.
The two waitresses returned with his drinks. Zoey couldn't understand why two people were needed to deliver two drinks to the table. With the fake smile they gave her she wanted to return with a retort on how pathetic they were but she bit her lip instead. Nikclaus commented on the small tip they would be receiving, she guessed due to the fake pleasantries they paid her, and she rolled her eyes at his comment. "You know that would be your fault for choosing my company over theirs considering the type of girls they seem to be." Zoey thought she would remind him of that fact. Within the next moment Nikclaus has burned his tongue on a very obvious hot cup of coffee and she couldn't help but chuckle at his stupidity. "Karma." She said almost as a tisk, tisk.

@greyback **I'm sorry it's so short and poorly written :s Niklaus could feel the irritation in this girl's voice the moment she opened her mouth. Nik was usually quite good at coming up with a witty comeback for women with her demeanor, however, Niklaus was baffled by what was coming out of this one's mouth. His throbbing tongue didn't even take away from the sass that this girl was emitting. An eyebrow was raised as the girl spewed venom at him. He laughed the moment she told him that she disliked tea. In reality, Niklaus didn't give a damn if she liked tea or not. He was just being nice to someone who couldn't seem to stand it, and that made his day a little more interesting.
"I really don't care if you like tea or not, but I ordered you one and you're going to pretend to enjoy my company, got it?" He said, eyeing up the two girls still looking his way. He looked down at his steaming cup and shook his head. He had enough with her sarcasm and bad attitude. In his own world, Niklaus had this fantasy where only he was allowed to be broody, sarcastic, and just plain rude. It was a wake up call for him to see that there was someone out there in the real world who was able to challenge that. It was nice, however, Niklaus had a bad feeling that he was going to lose out to someone far younger than himself.
"Maybe, but I believe Karma comes in threes and you're bad attitude is about to attract a whole shit storm of it," he said snickering at her. He knew all about karma. It seemed to follow him everywhere and if this girl's attitude was anything like his, she was in for a pretty big surprise.
"Your name? I didn't seem to catch it because you were too busy trying to find a clever way to insult me." Niklaus had realized that her name wasn't all that important, but if his was given, hers should be shared as well. It was only polite to share one's name with someone who has shared theirs as well.

The young Greyback woman seemed to have a knack for finding herself in peculiar situations. Although this odd meeting wasn’t completely strange it did have a slight unpredictable sort of feeling. Today, Zoey assumed she would have a basic trip to gather supplies for her upcoming year at Hogwarts and expected nothing exciting to happen. However, it seems she might have been wrong about that prediction considering the company she found herself in now. Most wouldn’t find a conversation like this interesting but it intrigued Zoey once she heard Niklaus’s first remark. Perhaps, this would be better than watching the two girls fight for his attention, even if he did seem like an arse.
Laughter bubbled beneath her cold demeanor and it also became difficult to hold it at bay. She was going to be forced to pretend to like his company? Was she supposed to be a prisoner of some sort; his prisoner? ”And what would you do if I didn’t pretend to go along with your little game?” She asked quite curious on how Niklaus could prevent her from doing what she wanted. ”Maybe I shall get up and walk away leaving you vulnerable to the two cats that want to dig their claws into you.” A devious smirk running across her lips.
”Bad attitude?” She mocked with disbelief. ”I believe I was minding my own business with a pleasant attitude until you came along.” Zoey added. ”Perhaps you are my third bad act of karma.” Zoey really didn’t believe in karma, if that was the case she wouldn’t act the way she did, disregarding most rules. If karma was real her life would be one big misery.
”I believe I don’t need to be clever to insult you. I think you already handled that yourself by needing to be rescued by me from two harmless, obviously, horny women.” She snickered. Debating on whether or not it would be worth it to divulge her name to him. It wouldn’t do much harm and it might be interesting to see the reaction upon his face because most could not help their facial expression when she introduced herself. ”Zoey Greyback.” She stated, watching him closely.
