Claim Your House Points

Here is where you can claim your house points to earn the House Cup for your house. There are several ways you can earn house points as of right now and more options will be added later. You can also lose points for misbehaving. The points deducted will be decided based on what the cause of the deduction is. The authority figure can suggestion a point value.

• Posting: For every post your character makes you can earn yourself 5 points (200-600) words, 10 points (601-1000) words, and 15 points (1000+) words. If you are claiming multiple posts by the same character in a thread you can use one code. When filling out the code for Number of Words just put Post 1: ###, Post 2: ###, etc.

  Posting on an empty board/sub-board: 20 points.
  Posting an open thread: 20 points.
  Replying to an open thread: 15 points.
  Posting a tagged thread: 10 points.

• Quidditch matches: There are many points to be earned for Quidditch matches such as:
  Attending a Quidditch match (on team): 15 points.
  Attending practice: 10 points.
  Attending a Quidditch match (spectator): 5 points.
  Winning a Quidditch match by 30+ points: 30 points.
  Winning a Quidditch match by 15+ points: 15 points.
  Winning a Quidditch match by 5+ points: 5 points.
  Tying or losing a Quidditch match: - 50 points.

• Classes: Classes are going to be an important part of Magical freedom and so are the points assigned to your classes.
  Attending class: 10 points.
  Completing and handing in a homework assignment: 10 points.
  Completing and passing exams/quizzes: 15 points.
  Tardiness: - 5 points.
  Failing an exam/quiz: - 5 points.
  Failing a class: - 10 points.
  Disrespect to authority: - 10 points.

  Filling a want ad: 30 points.
  Completing a thread: 15 points.

  Starting a discussion thread: 5 points.

• Advertising: For every site you advertise on you can earn 5 points for the house of one of your characters house.

• Helping: By helping a member solve a problem you can earn 10 points for the house of one of your characters. The person that you helped has to confirm the kindness you provided them.
