DIVOLA, LINDIE

Lindie is a muggle born, she did not grow up in the world of magic and like all muggle children thought magic was just make believe. A silly little game other kids played, as much as she thought it was silly she did try to join in. But for whatever reason they would never let her join in. Instead she would be made fun of. this was mostly due to the fact she was always the new girl. No one ever seemed to give her a chance, and was often bulled. That is when Lindie's deep hate for bullies started to grow.



But instead of getting angry and throwing her fists around she would play mind games, it was far more fun messing with the minds of her tormentors then getting into flat out fights. She started to get great pleasure in humiliating bullies and showing everyone how weak and pathetic they really where. Soon no one would pick on her and just leave her alone. She still did not have any friends.. Though soon that was about to change, a new girl had moved into her town and started to go to her school. At first Lindie took no mind to the new girl.



She was a blonde and had brown  eyes so she just thought she would end up hanging with the popular kids. But to her shock that was not the case, at lunch the new girl would sit next to her and talk. That is when Lindie learned her name was Ariana Miller. Lindie did not say much back to her and let the girl talk. This went on for a while and Ariana  started to grow on Lindie and soon the two of them became friends. They would do most of everything together, though one of the things they loved to do was stand up to bullies. It seemed Ariana liked to put them in their places as well. Though she would do it differently then Lindie would.  


Then on Lindie's twelfth birthday she was in for the shock of her life. Lindie had gone out for a walk around her neighborhood, like she would sometimes do just to get out of the house, though this time she was going to run into some trouble. A angry large dog come out of nowhere growling and snapping, this scared Lindie but she tried to back away calmly but the dog lunged forward to attack. 


The poor girl screamed and held up her hands, and suddenly a burst of fire came shooting from her hands. It was enough to scare the angered dog and it ran away. Lindie stood there in shock, she has seen what she just did but could not believe it. As she just used magic??  After that she then ran home and locked herself in her room. She did not want to tell anyone. what if they thought she was crazy or thought she was a freak?? For the rest of the day Lindie refused to come out of her room and ended up staying up all night. 


It was early the morning she would get another shock, as much as she did not want to leave to go to school Lindie forced herself leave the house,. She was about a block away from her house when it happened, a large owl came swooping down and landed on a near by mail box. It looked right at Lindie, hooting it held a envelope in its beak bobbing its head as if trying to say please come take it.  


Lindie walked over hesitantly and toke the envelope, as soon as she did the owl flew off. Lindie then looked at the  envelope , wondering why a owl  had just given it to her.. She then slowly opened it and read the letter. She started to laugh when she finished it, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry?? And she had been accepted to it?? Though as funny as it sounded it could be true.. She did shoot fire out of her hands yesterday and now she got a letter like this?  Though what where her parents going to think?


During the school day Lindie pulled her friend Ari to the side and told her everything that happened and showed her the letter, and to her shock Ari pulled out one as well and said she had use magic to save a baby bird that had fallen from its nest. Lindie was over joyed she was not the only one and her best friend had magic to! After school the two girls then showed their parents the letters. 


At first their parents thought this was a joke and ignored them. That was untill a stranger came a knocking, One of the teachers of Hogwarts had come and started to explain what was going on and why they needed to go to this school. Soon after the two girls where packing and buying the things they needed for their new life and school.

It was late afternoon at Hogworts, her friend Ari was in some classes so she was just killing sometime till she was done. As she walked down the halls of the school Lindie heard sounds of Slytherin's picking on someone, Lindie then went over to investigate. What she saw made her frown. Some Slytherins jerks where picking on some first years who where muggle born. "I see you like to pick on the weak just to make yourself fell strong... How pethtic...." Lindie said as she placed herself between the other Slytherins and the first years. She then pulled out her wand and pointed it at them. "Just shows how weak you really are... I so would not mind taking you down.. Detention would be worth it, don't think I'm serious? Try me..."" Lindie said with a dark smile.

The other students looked at Lindie dumb founded, she was in their house yet she was willing to fight them over some muggle borns? The other Slytherins looked at each other and started to leave with threats she would pay for this later. All Lindie did was laugh, the other Slytherins did not scare her in the lest. They could just do their worst for she cared. The only person she called friend was Ari, she could care less what other's think of her. She then made sure the muggle borns where ok before they left. Just then laughter could be heard as someone clapped, Lindie turned to see Ari there. " Nice show Lindie, not the way I would have handled it.. But nicely done." Ari said with a smile.

Lindie smiled and put away her want and walked over to Lindie, " Its sad I even have to do that... Most are all just rich brats and most of the things they do they most likely learned form their parents... Oh well.." Lindie sighed. Ari smiled and patted her friend's shoulder, "Don't let it bug you to much, come on lets go get something to eat." Ari said. Lindie smiled and nodded and the two started to make their way to the great dinning hall.
