[attr="class","bhs"] [attr="class","bhsquot1"]Asterix Harrow [attr="class","bhsquot2"]astrid berges-frisbey, [attr="class","bhstext"]There was something about the Shrieking Shack that always seemed to calm Asterix's soul. Even the thought of watching a sunset, eyes glued to the willow's branches dancing with the quick flight of the birds, calmed the girl. The shack was a place of escape for her. When Asterix was younger, her mother and father weren't around very much, leaving the girl to fend for herself. Often times, Asterix would try and escape the confines of her room and the watchful eye of her nannies to be alone. Most of these escapes happened at night, where she could watch the stars come and go. One of her biggest wishes was to be like the stars. To shine brightly, to come and go as she pleased. [break][break] This evening was somewhat like the nights she spent at her parents estate. Asterix looked herself over in the mirror and tilted her head to one side. Her long brown curls caressed the small of her back. Brown eyes looked back, revealing ultimate sadness and defeat. Asterix was bright, intelligent beyond compare. However, after her work review, she had realized that there was something wrong. She didn't understand why she was doing so poorly. The last thing that Asterix wanted was to be reprimanded. She shook her head. No more, she thought to herself. She wouldn't let this get to her. The woman turned on her heels and marched over toward her bed. Underneath her pillow lay a journal, filled to the brim with snippets of songs, quotes, and Asterix's inner most thoughts. She grabbed the book, a pen, and took the jacket laying on her bed. [break][break] She placed the book into her bag and looked into the mirror once more. She tapped the sides of her head, making sure that there were no stray hairs. The burgundy coat she had decided on was a lovely contrast against her caramel skin. Asterix smiled at herself in the mirror before proceeding out her front door. She live in a small area in London, not too far from an abandoned park where she could easily aparate. Asterix walked in the cool, brisk air until she reached the safety of the abandoned park. She was careful not to get her foot suck in a hole. She breathed in deeply and snapped her fingers. The sickening feeling was felt in the pit of her stomach, a feeling that she had never gotten used to. She shook her head and looked up from the ground. Chocolate colored eyes met an aggressive willow, cheerful birds who thought it would be a delight to torture the big tree, and her spot. It appeared to have been untouched that day. [break][break] Asterix pulled out the book from her bag and carefully sat on the ledge of a stone fence. The young woman hadn't opened her journal before she was captivated by the dance between the tree and the birds. She was oblivious to her surroundings..
