[attr="class","bhstext"]Noel hummed a little song to himself without realising it, he almost got lost in a daydream until he heard Cordelia talk again, he snickered a little at her naming suggestion “Oh, that’s not that clever” his little snicker coming along again - Crumbs seemed like a pretty predictable name in his opinion, kind of like naming a dalmatian ‘Spot’, but he thought it was a little adorable anyway, Noel began to wonder if Cordelia had any pets and what their names were. “Do you have an owl?” He asked, mostly everyone had one of them “Did you name it ‘Hoot’ heh heh ” He chuckled a little as he played.

As Noel had spoken all about the journals he found and how he considered Cordelia’s to be the most entertaining, he felt a sharp pull not only literally but in surprise. He didn’t know why that happened, after all reading her diary didn’t seem to bad, it had some pretty neat things in there, some funny comments and some really gripping thoughts.

But Noel’s usual soft delighted self was not there, instead he felt scared and couldn’t help but let some small tears peek out of the corners of his eyes. But his distress didn’t last any longer than two or three seconds. Listening to Cordelia, Noel was still certain that she was just shy. He wiped away the scattered tears on his face and grinned. “But why?” he smiled as he was told to keep quiet about Cordelia’s crush. He didn’t understand, it was nothing that bad.

“Well….” Noel said as he considered keeping his mouth sealed, it wasn’t as though he wanted to tease or taunt her, but keeping things from his dad was not something he was used to. Thinking about it, Noel agreed “Okay” he nodded and looked to the side as if he spotted something weird over there

“So does that mean that I should also keep Theodore’s things secret too?” he looked back at Cordelia “I don’t really get…what he writes. But he does talk to his cat a lot, it’s funny” He smiled and added “I’ve never seen anyone talk to cats like they do, sometimes it’s like the cats are people or something” Noel shrugged happily - the Fischers were very peculiar but he didn’t think they were weird, Theodore and Glacinda just seemed overly affectionate with their pets; Noel thought of it as endearing..
