Elijah thought to himself a moment, in the darkness of his room. Laying next to him was the woman he so deeply cared about, the woman he was in love with. She was beautiful, she was perfect. The way the moonlight caressed her naked flesh, the way her brows furrowed when she slept. Elijah had never seen anything more mesmerizing. A smile tugged a the corners of his mouth as he watched her sleep. He bent over and kissed her on the forehead.[break][break]

The night they had spent together was something that would be etched in his memory during the whole of his eternal life. Hayley was quite possibly the best thing that could have ever happened to him. With his small thought, Elijah let a small sigh escape his being. He flipped the covers over and got off the bed, wrapping a towel around his lower half. He thought that, with the events that had happened, Hayley would wake up hungry.[break][break]

After a quick shower and fresh clothes, Elijah made his way down the stairs and into the kitchen. He quickly whipped up a meal, and thought it would be best if he went to check on the rest of the compound. He wanted to make sure that no one had returned as of yet, giving him and Hayley some more alone time before she had to return to her pack and her husband, Jackson.[break][break]

After the coast was clear, Elijah heard a small ruckus coming from the kitchen. There, he found Hayley putting mountains of cereal in her mouth. Elijah couldn't help but chuckle at her as he walked past.[break][break]

"Well, good morning to you too. Did you not notice the beautiful breakfast I slaved over before indulging in the mountain of cereal?" He laughed, walking up behind her and kissing her neck gently before nuzzling his face in the crook between her neck and shoulder, wrapping his arms around her waist. "How long do we have today, before you have to return to your kingdom. You are not just a Queen there, Hayley, you are also my Queen, and your King needs tending to." Elijah's words were light and playful, something he had not been accustomed to in over two hundred years.
