VICTOIRE GABRIELLE WEASLEY
23 | FORMER GRYFFINDOR/MERCENARY | ADULT | BISEXUAL | ELIZA TAYLOR
HISTORY
early childhood...
Victoire Weasley was the first of three children from Bill and Fleur Weasley. she was born on the anniversary of the Battle of Hogwarts and for that she was given the name Victoire, meaning victory. At around age three, Dominique came in the picture and sometime later, Louis kind of followed. As an older sister, Victoire was the tougher of the three. She often took blame for anything the two did, but was generally looked up to by her brother and sister. As far as closest goes, Victoire was closest to Dominique. She grew up very protective of both of her siblings.
hogwarts...
Upon receiving her letter to Hogwarts, Victoire was more than ready to leave. Bill had given her flying lessons since she was eight and she wanted nothing more than to play Quidditch for her house. There wasn't any pressure for whatever house she would be sorted into, but she knew if she would be sorted into Gryffindor, it would make her father proud of her. Fortunately for her own sake, Victoire was sorted into Gryffindor house and joined in the Weasley legacy of Gryffindors.
More of the Weasleys (and Potters) after her would be sorted into Gryffindor, which meant a family reunion every single day. Victoire's relationship with her younger cousins were a rocky one. She only connected to her brother and sister, some cousins who were closer to her age, and of course the infamous Teddy Lupin. Their relationship started when Albus Potter started his first year. It didn't last long, Teddy ended it and Victoire was spiteful ever since.
In the classroom, Victoire excelled in Transfiguration, Quidditch, and Defense Against the Dark Arts. Her skills in Quidditch were good enough to land her a spot on the team as a beater in her sixth year. In her seventh year, she chose to stay on the sidelines as she continued to study more on the dark arts. During her time at Hogwarts, Victoire questioned why she was put into Gryffindor. She couldn't see herself really fitting in. Sure she had some friends in the house, but they would still be friends Gryffindor or not.
after hogwarts...
Victoire joined the Magical Law Enforcement Patrol hoping for an adventure. The patrol team wasn't what she expected. Because she didn't do too great in the N.E.W.T., she couldn't train to be an auror. Although her father didn't voice his disappointment in her, she could tell he was disappointed. After two years working with the patrol, Victoire left her job.
She started her new career as a mercenary, working for both good and bad magical beings alike (but mostly bad). As a mercenary, Victoire was free to pick and choose who she would work for and there was definitely a thrill to the job (as well as great pay). The new job choice transformed Victoire into a more mean, cold-hearted woman that only fed into her desire to further her learning into the dark magic.
After she left her job, she lost contact with her parents, but still kept tabs on her brother and sister now and then. Her relationships with her cousins were even more rocky now that she was a disgrace to the Weasley name, but Victoire was no longer in her parents' shadows.
ROLEPLAY SAMPLE
It was one of those days where the business was slow, but the Three Broomsticks was anything but quiet. Making the headquarters for a mercenary at a popular pub in Hogsmeade probably was not the smartest choice, but it did pay off when the blonde did not want to hang around Knockturn Alley. Majority of the jobs her clients gave her at Knockturn Alley had to do with sneaking into Hogwarts and killing a Muggleborn or two. Victoire was still as human as ever and remembered some of her closest friends were muggleborns. Sure she enjoyed dark magic as much as the next folk, but even she knew where to draw the line. Any of those students people would like her to kill could be a friend of her brother or sister. Although she is the family traitor, she doesn't actually hate her family.
Victoire sipped her firewhiskey slowly, eying the bartender as he prepared someone else’s drink. As if the pub couldn’t get any louder, a group of young third year Hogwarts students flooded the pub. They yelled their orders to the bartender and continued to be the teenagers that they were – hollering to each other and making a commotion. “I swear to Dumbledore,” the blonde witch gritted her teeth, “You can never have a nice drink in this place.” Putting her drink down, Victoire turns around in her seat and flicked her wand from under her jacket, moving the new glasses of butterbeer over the head of the four students and drenching them in the drink. As the students left in disgust, Victoire laughed and turned around in her seat. “Another please!”
