I'm Alissa Margaret Bagnold. Seventeen years old, which puts me somewhere in the Seventh Year at the school I attend – Hogwarts. And I'm part of a family of Ravenclaws. Third in line when my parents eventually die, and the first girl in the family of four kids. Two brothers were born before me, and then I have a sister who's two years younger than I am. I could tell you all about my family now, but if everyone could hold the hell on for now, I'll get to that later.[break][break]

So why am I a sorted Ravenclaw? Because unlike most people, I'm a hands-on kind of girl. No, not in that way, perverts. Keep it in your pants. I'm hands-on when it comes to most activities, including science stuff. I could sit in a classroom all day and spend time writing on parchment or making notes in my books, but who would have fun with that? Instead of long lectures, I absolutely love getting my hands messy. That is part of the reason why I'm taking both Potions and Herbology in my final year. (I'm also aiming to get a job at St. Mungo's eventually. Start in-training, then work my way up to an actual mediwitch. Wouldn't that please the snot out of everyone?)[break][break]

So when I'm not getting down and dirty in class, I love to spend time sitting in the library with younger students, mentoring them on lessons I've been taught and what they're currently learning themselves. It helps keep my mind fresh and working, really. Maybe that's one of the reasons why I'm wearing this badge on my robes: That of a Prefect. I was asked if I wanted to be the Head Girl for my graduating class, and I politely said no to that offer. I love having responsibility, but I don't want to be pressured into being holier than thou and thinking that I need to be better than others. That's not how I operate.[break][break]

I don't play Quidditch, unfortunately. It's not that I don't like the sport. I just don't like heights. Never have, and never will. That's a major phobia of mine, next to cheating. I can't pinpoint just when this fear started. I just know that if you ever try to get me more than five feet off of the ground, I'll have a severe panic attack. (The five feet thing is probably an exaggeration, but you get the point.)[break][break]

So let's go over the rest of the family. I personally think that my parents love A names, because each of the four siblings have them. Prepare for confusion.[break][break]

Aaron Bagnold – 21 years old. The two of us aren't as close as you'd think. He's a professional Quidditch player, and would rather think that he's everything I'm not. He was a Ravenclaw, as already stated, but he was too focused on being a part of the Quidditch team as well. He was one of the lower Ravenclaws to graduate in his class. I feel as though I've been sheltered from the outside world, unlike he was. I wonder if we'll ever speak to each other.[break][break]

Ashford Bagnold – 19 years old. I think I'm still pretty close to him, even though we're of different genders. He's the one I look up the most out of the men of my family, because he showed me to stick up for myself and to be someone who can be a role model for others. He works as an in-training mediwizard at St. Mungo's, so I'll have someone there who can show me the ropes and pull me aside if I get too flustered. I always had his back when he was at Hogwarts.[break][break]

April Bagnold – 15 years old. She's part-Hufflepuff and part-Ravenclaw. Even though she was sorted to the same house that all of her siblings were sorted into, she doesn't believe that she should be there. I'm close to her, but not in the same boat as I am to Ashford. I think she'd love to work at the Ministry, but she's got her mind wrapped around about a half-dozen potential jobs. I hope she knows what she wants to do and quick. She's more friendly than most Badgers are, and that surprises me.[break][break]
