whisper sweet nothings in my ear
[attr="class","itokaytext"]A dreary day wasn't something that Gideon minded. He usually relished in the fact that the days were cool, gloomy, and rainy. However, on this particular day, Gideon wasn't feeling the weather. There was something in the air that made him feel uneasy. Almost as if someone were watching him. Gideon walked the cobbled streets, always looking over his shoulder. Someone in his line of profession would usually have no issues with this.
Gideon ran a hand through his long, dark locks as he pulled a cigarette from his leather jacket pocket. He brought it to his lips and lit it with a snap of his fingers. Taking a drag, he pulled the stick from his lips and exhaled the toxins into the air. He breathed a sigh of relief. Gideon continued on his walk, this time trying to shake the feeling of someone following his every move. The hustle and bustle of the many witches and wizards preparing for the ending school year made Diagon Alley the perfect place to hide from anyone. The tall man continued, listening in on the many conversations being had. Most of the families and parties walking through the alley were talking about the many things they required for their children attending Hogwarts. Even in the rain, the alley was a loud and busy place. Gideon finished off his cigarette and threw the remains on the cobbled ground. He took a hard right down on of the many paths and soon found himself in front of a small cafe that he had never seen before.
Thinking to himself about the person who was following him, Gideon decided it would be best if he entered the unknown cafe and had himself a pick me up. His hand grasped the knob and turned it. He pulled the door toward himself and walked into the modern coffee shop. A small smile graced the features of the women working the front desk. The girls began whispering to each other as Gideon sat himself in one of the comfy chairs. Gideon laughed to himself and shook his head as the two young women seemed to bicker about who would get the opportunity to serve Gideon. This type of behaviour was quite normal for Gideon. Women seemed to be infatuated with him. It wasn't a problem, but it did make him feel quite high and mighty about himself.
After a few moments of watching the girls bicker, Gideon raised his hand and waved the girls over. They both pushed themselves out of each other's way and presented themselves in front of him. Gideon smirked and the girls seemed to swoon. Just as Gideon was about to place his order, the door opened, interrupting him.
